I have tickets, so crossing fingers I don't have to have a meeting that weekend.

Nice, did you go last year? Anything specific that you're looking to listen to?

Yes, I went last year, just one day. Wouldn't mind listening to the Lyr3. My girlfriend will be with me, so we shall see what I'm allowed to spend time on :)

    I'll be there.

I bought the 3 day pass but I'm not sure if I'll show up for all 3 days.

Very interested in giving the HD820 a listen. Looks like Final Audio will be back this year as well. Last year they had a table with like 2 dozen IEMs. They have a lot of weird stuff but there are some gems among the overpriced audio jewelry with odd sound sigs. I was very impressed with the F7200. I searched on here but didn't see a mention.

I'll be there on Sunday with my wife. We'll probably spend the bulk of our time at the ZMF table listening to headphones and amps I wish I could afford.

I'll be in 1640 with David Michael Audio, but this is my first time at the show so I will probably be spending much more time wandering and hitting every room I can. I'll be there for the whole show.

The room will feature this setup
    • Graham Audio LS5/8 and LS3/5a
    • Nagra HD Monoblocks
    • Nagra HD Preamplifier
    • Nagra HD DAC
    • Nagra VPS Phonostage
    • Nagra IV-S Analog Reel to Reel
    • Dohmann Helix 1 Turntable
    • Phasemation PP-2000 Phono Cartridge
    • Aurender W-20
    • Kubala-Sosna Cables
    • Modulum Stands

A friend listened to this setup at a show (the name of which escapes me) and said it was the best sound he had heard in years -- completely blew his mind.

I will not be there this year manning the LTA booth, as I am moving on from LTA, but since I know what they'll possibly show I can list new stuff. If things work out they'll have their new integrated amp which has an electrostatic headphone output as well as a normal headphone output, which is EL84-based and quite different than the MicroZOTL2. Also a possibility is the MicroZOTL Preamplifier, which is designed to be a fully featured preamp in a two-channel system but will also feature what is essentially the best possible version of the MicroZOTL2 headphone output (it will have a few significant upgrades that were not done or possible by any modification I am aware of).

As I said, "if things work out," so I don't know for sure what will be on the table and I have only heard prototypes. I will say that the MicroZOTL headphone output is really a step up, at least in the versions I listened to.

The Grahams are remarkable. Sadly, Harbeth has a huge market share in the US so people gravitate towards them having not heard the Graham before. Graham was not available in the US until about 2 years ago. I am selling my Focal Electra 1028Be and very likely getting a pair of Graham LS5/9. I'm on the fence between the LS5/9 and a Magico A3.

Strong chance that I’ll check this out for the first time this year. Is this the first time it’s been in Schaumburg?

It has been at the Westin near O'Hare for the last several years at least.

That’s what I thought... I hate driving out that way or into the city for that matter... but it’s so close I have to go this year.

Not going to be making able to attend this year, forgot to make arrangements beforehand. Was working in the Questyle tables last year and had a great time. The Kimber/Woo club lounge I saw last year was gorgeous, really worth checking out.

Hope this year is great just like last year.

I will be attending as Press, but I'll be there the whole weekend. Would be cool to meet up with some folks who are also there.

A comparison of Spatial Audio vs. PAP would be awesome (Rm 696)

For anyone in the DC area, a pair of Pure Audio Project speakers just arrived at the LTA shop, possibly the Trio10, I think that's the model? A model? I don't know which model they are, I left before they were unpacked. After Axpona there will also be either Spatial's M3 or the M3 Triode Master in the shop too. If you were interested in a comparison, I'd give the shop a call in two to three weeks to see what's up.

I think I'll be able to make it Saturday and part of Sunday! Not sure how long I'll be staying though as I'll be with my wife. This will be my first audio show, so I'm pretty excited about it. I have no idea what to expect, but I'm sure I'll be visiting lots of different rooms (Mr. Speakers, Schiit, Sennheiser, Focal, PureAudioProject , etc...). It'd be cool to meet some of you in person too.
