OFFICIAL: Massdrop Sennheiser HD6XX

If i am not wrong, they will start shipping this after dec 25 ?

 

Got my payment email, updated payment info and am now in the drop. Well done Massdrop for sorting that out.

 

Last I heard was Dec 15th unless they changed it

 

I tried ordering the HD6XX on the drop opening date and the ordering page freezed. I thought my order was not completed. Just now I check my credit card bill and found there was an amount charged by Massdrop. I login to Massdrop again and found my HD6XX order.

Just contacted Massdrop asking if I can cancel my order, as I thought the order was not successful and already spent money on another headphone purchase.

If I cannot cancel my order, would anyone here interested in buying my HD6XX? I can change the shpping address for my order to have Massdrop sending the headphone to you directly.

 

I would be keen if it can be changed to ship to Australia.

 

Are you in the US? If so, I will buy it and you can ship it to Florida.. that is, if you don't want to take up @Decomo's offer first...

 

It might be better for him to take your offer since both of you are based in USA and would be much easier for him. I hope the drop come back in the near future so that I can grab it, too.

 

I think he is based in HK (I checked him out on HF). In that case, I will defer to your being in line first.

I'm not sure about Australia, but for me to land the HDXX from the drop is going to take about $320 all told after shipping and customs. Wow, $320 - yikes! Yeah the Amazon.uk 650's have gone up recently for us. A few weeks ago you could get them shipped to the US for around $270 if I recall correctly.

No reply from Massdrop yet. My another option will be to take the HD6XX but sell one of my existing headphones. I just have too many headphones... Winter is coming so I could be selling my Alessandro MS2e. I listen to it primarily in summer time where the Grado sponge cushions trap much less heat compare to my other headphones.

 

The lowest price I have ever found for the HD650 is from Amazon UK. For buyer outside of UK, it will be only around UKP200 something upon check out with VAT deducted. With the current exchange rate, I find it a better deal than the HD6XX given the longer cable, nice short cable 6.35-3.5mm adapter, nicer finish and no wait.

 

Well, I don't know what sort of hell they were going through at Massdrop, but I finally joined the 6xx drop today. That will be my third pair of HD650s- since I have a pair for modding now, but I was seriously considering giving my brother a pair, so...

I'm making a slew of HD6XX and 400i cables, they are turning out nicely!

 

If anyone want to sell Massdrop HD6xx, please PM me. I will be keen to purchase since I lost hope getting it from Massdrop.. I was told that I am too far behind on waiting list..

 

With my measurement rig up and running again, I'm itching for the next 6xx drop for them stock measurements against my own modded 650's.
