Did you like them? Did you use them as balanced monoblocks? Price is 35% of Amazon, good reviews but if you have direct experience you can share it would be great.

Those Nuforce amps are a serious deal for balanced DAC users. I would get those if I was looking for an amp under $1000.

So did the SQ go down the tubes with those feet? Did the bottom end get wiped out? Sorry, I'm on a roll...

I full thoughts on them here: http://www.head-fi.org/t/724153/review-nuforce-ha-200-affordable-class-a-monoblocks

The sound was a little soft at times, but still firm at the core. Never strained, though at times it did leave me hanging...

Thanks, very interesting reading on head-fi. I ma convinced, mt TEAC UD-501 is on order from Massdrop this is will be my main desktop setup. It does not have a preamp so I will add something like Emotiva Control Freak in the chain. And sell the talisman amps.

I read through the Head-fi thread and found your comment that you sold them because they started humming. Just one of them or the entire setup, because it would be unlikely that two amps would malfunction at the same time. They are still on sale but I am in the state of decision paralysis.

Both conked out at the same time, so it was very very likely a power surge or something on my end (and before I got proper surge protectors). Plus I have ridiculously bad power at my place.

I purchased a CD player from them and it was in like-new condition even though they graded 7/10.

Is this considered a fair price for a SFD1-mkII? Thanks

In Marvey's thread it says $750, I am not sure since I am not in the market but these seem rare enough that I thought I would post it.

This is a good price for a very good DAC. Prices have gone up on these since @Marvey quoted $750. And PCX will still service these units if needed. It's also being sold by a reliable dealer.

Schiit has disrupted the r2r market, so it's hard to say these DACs are a better value than a new Gungnir Multibit or the teased Bimby2, but they have a very natural, unique sound. Someone here should jump on this IMHO.
