Speaking of Italy, did you chaps already ship the real, actual Golden Shlong over there for this Fiasco DAC? [IMG]

It took some prodding, but once we laid things out with the Wise Council of 101 Italians, they hopped on pretty quickly to the idea, pounded out the necessary documents, and ultimately nailed the final product.

    ... Penis.

I see they put this in the back door area. Erecting such a massive monument requires careful placement.

At last, @atomicbob gives me squiggles that I can understand, and @Torq gives me the reviews which tells me what to th...

No, wait! I am still not sure whether he thinks it is greater or lesser than the World Tree. Without explicit unexpurgated content on this, I'm just going to have to re-read NwAvGuy and get the ODAC out again. Or... be lost in a world of subtlety in which I just don't know what to buy.

@Torq also omits vital information about the burn-in. How many hours did his test unit spend in the bonfire?

It has to be quite solid, really. Very hard to get it placed it inbetween objects, let alone the nightmare to bring it through tunnels successfully.

I do see they tastefully trimmed the nearby shrubbery to enhance appearances though.

If the Meatball-Auditor "FIASCO" DAC was ground up really, really, finely, mixed with compost and a suitable array of nitrates then it still wouldn't be worthy of being used as fertilizer for the "World Tree".

    Not enough.

As much fun as this is ... I want to make one thing clear ... largely due to comments elsewhere that suggest significant cognitive failure and/or complete f**k-wittery on the part of their author(s) (that or they're just being twats for the sake of it) ... and the resultant potential for misunderstanding.

The Meatball-Auditor "FIASCO" DAC is in no way related to the Pontus.
And my posts in this thread say nothing, at all, about my thoughts on the Pontus - nor are they a thinly veiled sideways slam on the thing.

I have no doubt that regulars here get that; apparently others, elsewhere, aren't quite that astute (not that this is news).

This actually gets way more funny, but I don't think it's appropriate to post personal messages**. Let's just say Stan tried to change history by saying his post was a technique to show what tards we are*. Personally, I think it was a lame after the fact explanation for him to save face after acting like a dumbass.

And I totally believe that he really is an euro-italian supremacist - that kind of stuff, and the way he said it, just doesn't come out sideways. I bet it's deeply ingrained. He probably also thinks less of the rest of Europe, north of Italy.

*Which I don't understand the point because I have openely admitted such many times before.
**I still may - would love to do another Google translate on it

When things have settled down a bit, and since you've been a stand-up guy and class act here, I'll add my Pontus review to the "LaY" thread as originally intended.

It was totally weird. Went kind of like: I'm not as dumb as you think. I'm really super smart - I planned this all along from the start.

    And I'm like this:

You know he's still reading the thread right?

I wish to reinforce what @Torq states:
The Fiasco DAC I measured is a product of Meatball-Auditor Misadventures Inc, which has absolutely no relationship to Denafrips, @alvin1118 or any other entity real or imagined.
Hopefully guests skimming through will get the message. @alvin1118 is someone for which I hold great respect.

Is that Galileo at the top dropping tiny balls to check if gravity accelerates all DAC's at the same rate no matter how shitty they sound?
