Posting here even though they're used because of the claimed "mint" quality.

Focal Elears for $920 CAD. Canuck friends get the benefit of no additional import tax compared to orders from the US. A very good deal imo.

    https://headphonebar.com/collections/open-box-deals/products/focal-utopia

Open Box Utopias with warranty for $4,300 CAD. 17% off might not the best 'deal' compared to the used market, but having the warranty ensured is pretty nice.

Gotta love the "I don't have the box because I bought it in the US and it was too big to bring home" line -- the box isn't that big. It's probably more along the lines of "I threw the box out because I didn't want to pay taxes at the border."

Not a sale, but I just want to recommend this tiny $96 usb powered dual sabre chip dac. it's similar to a geek out v2 except it has the newer xmos xu208 usb chip which makes a surprisingly big difference. also has a little oled screen and volume up and down buttons that work well. I'm using it plugged direct to my speaker amp and using the little buttons for volume control and it's working great. it's a giant killer imo. silver version looks nicer than black.
edit: works with a phone with a usb otg cable too

what phone? presumably not an iPhone with Lightning USB adapter, in which case this unit would "draw too much power" to be directly functional?
am more in favor of a DAC/Amp device having it's own battery power ala GO2Pro or nano iDSD BL.

The white andromeda sold in HK came with an extra pair of ALO litz 2.5mm trrs cable.(different MRSP) It would be a steal if it is still true for the b-stock.

Can't remember - did you have the GOV2? I'm really interested if this doesn't sound sabre-y.

Yes I did have a geek out v2 but I’ve changed my entire chain so many times since then I don’t think my memory is reliable to compare them. This is way cheaper and has useful volume buttons tho.. and sturdy feeling metal case..

If you need something portable and have an iPhone that Sine with lightning cable for $200 is a good deal.

It's $230 for the isine 10 with lightning cable and $280 for the isine 20. I am assuming the $50 is worth it for the upgrade.

I haven’t heard any of the isines but the lightning cable is both super convenient and the amp/DAC in it paired really well with the full size Sine so I’d imagine the same holds true for the isine (plus it lets you EQ from the DAC/amp instead of using the built in iPhone EQ which is a huge benefit).

    @DigMe

FYI, Barnes and noble 20% off on CDs, may be decent for some hard to get stuff. The Jon Hassell CD I am hunting for used comes down from $15.74 to $12.59 new and no shipping.

EDIT: Just to show how whacked cd prices are, the Jon Hassell " Last Night The Moon Came Dropping Its Clothes In The Street" is $24.95 from the ProStudio Guys, WOW!

But they do have some good stuff at 40% off.

Speaking of Hassell I just downloaded this https://www.allmusic.com/album/siwan-mw0000821391 w/Hassell from 7digital.

It's very good and I prefer it to " Last Night The Moon Came Dropping Its Clothes In The Street". In case you were unfamiliar.
