    True but fivre mono plates are insanely hard to come by and cost is usually at least 1kusd for nos nib.
    I still want the oversized globe style fivre. Only seen singles of those on eBay.

    Dollar has gotten much stronger since 2008 too. Might be better to look at Lundahl. I read a DIY article about one particular transformer costing $135 in 2009 and it currently cost $140 when I checked, not much of an increase.

    $76 is for the Blue print 3440AH, not the Red print 3440A like in the Bob's device's listed for sale above and the one I DIY'ed. I know, I spoke and bought mine directly from Dave at Cinemag. The info is in the link I posted to my DIY thread.
