    Haha, thanks! And yeah, the metal plate thing involved a cursed bike and some cultural things. Would make for a pretty interesting horror story, too... once you know the rest. I told you only the parts that happened to me. ;)

    Got a titanium plate and 6 screws in my forearm, the surgery hurt more than break. That's why I didn't bother with the plate when I broke my clavicle.

    @Bill-P I can empathize - two popped clavicles, worst being >2cm displacement, tenting skin. two plates, 14 screws. both of mine still grumble when the weather changes. I can't imagine not getting surgery tho, but i know some dudes that have toughed out over an inch of displacement to forego surgery. Heal fast!!!
