    ... block noise that may come from the living room from coming into the bedroom area, there is a hall the bedrooms are in, would be nice to block some of the noise from going into the hall, and rely on the bedroom door to block the rest. Thoughts? I cant drill into wall or anything, just command strips.

    You could try noise reducing curtains. I've used them in the past to block noises from the outside coming in and they work ok.

    Ill have to see in the fall how much noise leaks through the bedroom door, but I heard from the existing people living in the room that a fair amount goes through.

    Even the thickest/heaviest curtains won't be nearly as effective as a door. But better than nothing I guess
