    I had some XLR y-splitters inline to feed Yggdrasil into both powered speakers and Jotunheim at the same time. Seems like the load the monitors present when they are turned off is too much for the Yggdrasil output stage, ergo big time distortion. Take out the splitters, hey presto, everything resolved.

    Hmm, actually, seems like this only has an input XLR selector, and not an output XLR selector. Both outputs are always connected. So maybe the goldpoint is the unique thing with the right functionality!
