Busy, long-term goals in sight and improving my cooking skills. A good risotto is worth all the preparation. Tomorrow ratatouille. Mar 26, 2024 at 5:53 PM

Sony RX100 tested. For a compact camera it feels way more professional than its tiny size indicates. Making your own settings is easy...

Focusses fairly quickly and the flash mechanism means you can 'bounce' it manually (by pulling back) which helps. Higher ISOs are less noisy than most point and shoots (and all phones save like the Panasonic CM1) and work well enough. It's not going to win a DSLR, but it's a lot more convenient and less obstrusive.

I have had the RX100 Mk3 for the past 2 years and love it! Great point and shoot with auto+ mode if you are in a hurry. 1080P video. Using the built-in viewfinder is a treat. Great for low light conditions.

28 mm, F1.8 to F2.8 you can tackle the darkness with ease. After 70mm the RX100 I has trouble focusing. The controls can be set to your liking but there are some compromises due to the compact design. This is a keeper...

"10.000 Days" is intense. Last time I felt like this was after "Black Star" and revisiting King Crimson. This is on the level of Beethoven's 5th Symphony. This is rare. Grief and anger cry and growl at the same time. How the guitar weeps...

f**k school, I have to do it my way. I tried to be regular student which was already hard enough for me. No more student life and student debt. Pragmatic solutions mix with my own approach to proving that I am capable in what I want to become. It will take some years of consistent effort...

Have you tried crumping? First you punch, then you stomp, then you chest pop. After a few chest pops it's probably hard to be mad as your mind will be filled with calming thoughts of "wtf am I doing?"

In my B-Boying days friends told me about it. Not my style. I prefer Hardcore/Hard Style stomping over that. Nothing beats feeling the groove while your body moves smoothly from phase to phase.

Crumping is not for me. If you like it enjoy!

The immediate focus on policy changes ignores the underlying problem: a political process very similar to the previous law's lack of bipartisan consensus. So: emphasize common ground and compromise on disagreements, when possible—as we did during the whole second half of the last century.
