Yeah, vinyl is big with the beard crowd right now. Then again, probably most people who have beards also have pubes so who can really say?

I buy every used record I can find, add pubes, then I resell it.

If you're new to vinyl you probably won't know this, but pubes are the USB decrapifiers of the vinyl world. The dark web is full of sites where people trade pubes, the especially good sounding ones cost tens of thousands of dollars. Some people argue it's a bigger improvement in sound than the speakers, amps, turntable arms, phono pre, or cartridge COMBINED.

Before you get excited though, realize that the chances of you getting good pubes for free on a used record purchase is incredibly slim. It could happen that you get a good one by accident, but the aficionados, "Pube Maestros" if you're in the scene, are meticulous in cataloging and maintaining their collections.

If you are interested in selling your pubes, we can work something out. Just know the standards for entry are high, and many people spend years fine tuning their grooming and shearing regimens. It's a good living if you can get it though.

P.S. Don't mention this to anyone IRL. I don't want to be responsible for you losing friends or family over this, and believe me, that's happened before.

As to whether a pube's history was bearded or non-bearded, you can sometimes tell from a sniff test.
