    Salieri actually wasn't a half bad composer. Not Mozart by any means, but what I've heard of his music is actually pretty good.

    There are lots of "good" composers such as Hummel who was Beethoven's comtemporary. Good, but not genius. Only the music of the genius transcends time ><.
