Yeah, ill have to try some stuff. Never tried an electrostatic phone, and these go for cheap sometimes. About to get about $300 for selling my TH-X00, and if I save my paychecks, should have enough soon. Also have random crap back home I have to sell.

If you're patient the Black Friday price is usually around $600 @ 40% off. Used can get as low as $500ish I have seen but you have to be real lucky and sometimes they have higher mileage. Don't forget Koss' warranty is lifetime and doesn't require proof of purchase!

I've always been kinda fascinated by them myself. Though do bear in mind that you'll need an ESP950 plug > Stax plug adapter if you ever want to use them with an amp besides the included one, and the only adapter I've seen is pretty expensive.
