hahaha oh god, the perennial test album! although my wife hates dave brubeck take five now for similar reasons so i only listen to it by myself. too bad the mastering on graceland sucks so much ass cause it's such a great album.

now, completely not audiophile approved: Lorn, Ask the Dust - f**k, these andros are good.

@brencho I’m guessing you’ve only heard the remaster. The original master was solid with great DR IMO. They did the typical effing of the remaster.

The original sounds great and can be had for a few bucks on the used market.

BTW - Simon's The Rhythm of the Saints is also a very, very good album that is well-recorded and mastered.

not the remaster - bought at Best Buy like a million yrs ago! I think i picked it up when i got Pulse by Pink Floyd. Anybody remember the red LED flashy thing???
