I am fascinated by the story actually in the same way I am enthusiastic about Don Quixote. Alice's story can be interpreted in various ways such as the journey we all take from the innocence of childhood through adolescence and adulthood. Whereby fantasy is replaced by harsh reality as we grow out of that phase.

Having two small children I can now relate to that innocence that if misguided can really cause havoc in adult life. I am hoping they grow into decent human beings...
