Actually, his stuffs are kinda hit or miss recently. i really like Kokoro Vibration and Musou Materialize but not really into Magico catastrophy.
    Toho bossanova are nice imo.

Hmm, well sedecim is a remix album so it doesn't exactly count as Shibayan's work. On the other hand, I like Shibayan's more recent works like Adrastea and Retro Future Girls especially over his older works. And yeah, his bossa nova stuff is good too.

Ah my bad , probably confusing wording on my side lol. Adrastea is pretty cool but i found myself listen to his bossanova stuffs more often (probably its not that distracting when i work along with it)

Favourite series this season too, everything else is more or less garbage.

Listening to Ayako Ishikawa's ANIME CLASSIC, a violin arrangement album of various anime tracks. Sounds pretty good so far but the damn compression is ruining it for me.

God DAMN, the opening bit of Tori no Uta always does it for me. Pretty proud that I know all of the songs in here. Thanks for the heads up gunner, definitely looking to pick this up.

Also gonna dump some links for the eye-catching (to me) C89 works. Hopefully some of us can exchange some notes.

753 (Shichigosan) is Shimotsuki Haruka's circle. Pretty self-explanatory.

Diverse System is releasing solo albums for Sakuzyo and Feryquitous. Always been a fan of Sakuzyo's works.

I always found this Vocaloid-centric circle while browsing around. Surprisingly not that bad.

By はちみつれもん. Never heard of them before, but the demo sounds pretty nice and I like the concept.

    Tenmon's circle.

Flowlight. Some instrumental circle I found.

sugarmosaic. Unfortunately, the vocalist doesn't seem to sing into the mic.

And lots more to go through.

You're welcome! I was only familiar with a few of the songs in the album haha. I only discovered it when it popped up on the "What's New" section of vgmdb.

Thanks for the C89 recommendations(?)! I'll check some of those out later today. I've already made 4 posts on my blog regarding C89 music thus far. Please check them out when you get the chance!

Edit: Here's a little something for you:

    It's from KEY's "Visual Art's 20th Anniversary Remixes disc1 -Chant of Key's Investigation-"

I feel like doujin music is kind of a grey area when it concerns linking directly to music downloads. Could someone confirm if it's okay or not?

Yeah I have been! I've never really explored EDM so some of your recommendations was pretty eye opening.

Can't really say I like that kind of remix for Key music :p

Here's a rearrange for one from AIR that I enjoyed.

Nice! I like that arrangement, though I've never heard the original. I haven't watched Air or read the VN yet. And yeah, I sort of like/dislike the PandaBoY remix.

Hmm... which of the electronic music albums has interested you the most so far? For me, it has been Lost Garden's Starlight Conductor without a doubt. I just love their style of electronic music, that brings me back to the earlier 2000s when electronic music wasn't synonymous with EDM, Dub step, Trap, Electro, etc.

    For the thread readers:

Starlight Conductor stood out the most for me too from your blog posts. Other than that, I came across this when going through the Circles in C89. It seems to be one of their older works, but I really enjoy it.

@Aelms I checked out all of your c89 links! I enjoyed listening to 753 and Hachimitsu-Lemon's (はちみつれもん) C89 previews. I wrote about them in part 5 of my C89 preview, which I just posted.

@thegunner100 Glad you appreciated it! This stuff is really hard to find since most resources are entirely in Japanese so I'm sure there's many who'd appreciate your posts!

It helps a lot that you and some others have been reading and commenting on my content, so thank you! :). I got somewhat discouraged from writing earlier this year due to a lack of readers. I only recently started writing again haha.

Yeah, I've tried starting my own blog too but the lack of visible rewards made me lose confidence... But I'm sure if you can make it a fun exercise, you'll be able to keep going!

Hmm yeah... :(. May I ask what you used to write about?

For part 6 of my comiket 89 previews, you guys should check out Fox Laboratory if you like orchestral or instrumental touhou music, and Applice's album if you like Pizuya's cell. Or if you're into weird noises and modern art, check out cawa's album. I've definitely been finding a lot of fun in writing these preview posts so far, so I'll do my best to continue writing :D

I tried to write review pieces that incorporated more analysis and commentary about its relevance to the anime industry, rather than just as recommendations. I put it on hold because I wasn't happy with my writing style and am practicing elsewhere for now.

It's actually really interesting when you refer back to your old favourites from previous Comikets. I'd be thrilled to see more of that.
