    I used one on a pair of HE-500 and a pair of DT-990s for year, I could not tell a sound difference with it on or off, the magnet anchor is very small.

    I use one on HD598s for gaming. Had one on my HD650 for a while but I never game with them so I took it off. No sound changes.
