Successfully received the Sangaku on 1/16. :) Pairs quite nicely with the HD 800 on loan from @Korotnam. There's definitely some synergy at work, there.

Dispatched the Sangaku to @bazelio on 1/23. Thoroughly enjoyed my time with the amp.

    Thanks again, Todd! :punk:

I can get this out to @SteelCannon tomorrow if I get a mailing address. What are we doing for insurance?

    My review.

You can ask Todd if you need to insure it and to what amount. I think he's covering it.

Any updates on this @SteelCannon? Trying to see around when I can expect it and if I can compare it to the Mogwei. If its not even close no worries. Just wondering.

    Hi All,

I hope you have enjoyed your time with the Sangaku! I think I have one more person on the list so if whoever has the Sangaku could please email me ([email protected]) I will get you the next address. Are there reviews posted somewhere on the amp?

Also, I was told the amp no longer sits flat - It has been shipped to about 15 -20 people and it must have been damaged as every one of them sits flat when it is built. That is not typical and I will have the unit checked when it is returned to me after this program.

Thanks to all those who participated and hope to do some more loaners here soon. Any suggestions as to what you may want to hear next???

    Todd

I should have mentioned this at the time, but I found upon receipt of the loaner unit that the amp's feet were set in the same uneven position as @bazelio described in his write-up of the Sangaku. Contemplated making an adjustment myself, but decided against it due to a) being a clumsy oaf with a screwdriver b) unsure if the feet misalignment was actually a "problem" as such, and c) being unwilling to risk any harm to the loaner unit.

I was the first person from SBAF to receive the loaner, so I just want to clear up any potential confusion regarding this issue. I did speak to Todd via phone while I was putting it through its paces, but I cannot recall if I had mentioned the issue with the feet to him at the time. Though it's likely that I didn't. :( Unfortunate to hear that the amp's feet may have been somehow damaged by a previous reviewer in such an odd way. Nothing else looked amiss on the chassis, so I had assumed that the configuration in which I received it was optimal.
