Brutoof Speakers

I recently got a hare up my ass to try out some Bluetooth speakers. I went through a UE Boom 2, a Megaboom, and then a Riva Turbo X. The Boom was great for the size and the fact that it's waterproof and indestructible. The Megaboom wasn't worth the extra cost over the Boom. I returned both of those and bought a Riva Turbo X. For $300, this make the Megaboom an extremely poor value proposition. In fact, I've used the Turbo X more than my headphones or my 2channel setup since buying it. It sounds really, really damn good for what it is and the ability to just move it around the house, to and from the office, etc makes it just outstanding. I know I'll get back to my headphones, but at the moment it just seems like so much work to deal with them when I can just plop down the Turbo and queue stuff up on my phone and forget about it. I look forward to traveling with it for some hotel room jamz.
