The noise, gentlemen (and ladies), please. Post your "Hmmm, green or white? Wow, that blue!" stuff on your profile page.

Upon deeper analysis of the blue Andos I definitely sensed a frequency shift in the 606–668 THz range...

Hm... gonna go against the grain here and say... white ones look cool but I'd still prefer them in crimson red to any of the current color options. If not, then green is still very handsome looking. White is a bit too bland to me, but maybe that's just me.

More interested in the 20% discounted new SXC 8 cable. Looks different from the last version, and hopefully gonna be softer/more ergonomic than Ref 8. I know full well how my Andro changes with different cables so... we'll see.

I like the screws here better. More subtle to the black screws that those on Aloaudio have

Grabbed a B stock green Andromeda. Bloody excited!

Does the spc cable oxidise and turn green as the cable is clear?

I changed my order but it was too late. I receive my white pair Wednesday and I'm sending them right back to exchange for green. I'll update when they're back at ALO

Tried andro with iPhone X's dongle for a little bit and it sounded like shite.

Anyone have experience with their $100 lightning cable?

I remember someone having mentioned it before but have you guys noticed that the newer Andro models seem to have a different nozzle design? Anyone have any idea why's that?

It will probably help with getting stubborn tips on there. Comply and Spin Fit are a PITA to get on the normal spout.

I've been switching between the Auteur with Eikon perforated pads on Aficionado and Andromeda with red ring Spin Fit tips on Black Widow with UE Line Buffer and they are about as close as two "headphones" can sound to each other. The Eikon pads take away some of the treble splashiness like the stock HD800 has with the 6kHz spike. When used with a brighter amp, they sound neutral but with serious weight to the sound. Andromeda out of a lower impedance amp sounds this way too. These are going to be my two headphones for the foreseeable future.

Also, they are HUGELY sensitive to source impedance. I plugged them into my MR816X headphone output and they were like tin cans!

Just adding a couple source/amp compatibility notes:

    from bassy to neutral:

Dragonfly Red --> iPhone --> Liquid Carbon single ended (with a touch of hum, not noticeable during music, but sounds like crap power... might need to try a cheapo TrippLite or something)

So far I'm preferring the LC despite the low level hum.
