I'm going to ask this question here, rather than on some other forums as this crew seems much more open-minded. If I ask this elsewhere the stock answer will be, "just leave it alone".

So, why my 1019 is off with Bill at FixMyDual for a C-L-A, I was looking at the base for it and wondering if it would benefit from dynamating the inside. Thoughts?

My concern with Dynamat on a TT is that it have could negative consequences like deadening the sound too much. I'd be more for mass loading, gluing pieces of lead, pouring in sand, concrete; but this approach could make some things better and eliminate things that were nice before. I'm all for experimentation though.
