Glad you got it. The guy wanted a ridiculous $500 CAD shipped to my place. Yikes.

Greetings from a fellow Canadian (St. John's). I'd just like to say hi and offer my contributions to the community. I'm new here but am an old veteran of HF and CAM. If there is a loaner/swap program I'd be happy to offer gear if people are curious (HE-500, HD6XX, HE4XX, RS-1, Magni 3, 5751 tubes). I also travel to the U.S. fairly often and wouldn't mind bringing things back for people, within reason.

Funny enough, my second/last post here quoted another Newfoundlander (@Br444m). I don't know how people are added to the Franadian list on the first post but it seems there at least two b'ys here.

The Edmonton Headphone Enthusiasts group now has just shy of two hundred members! We have experienced massive growth lately and it is great to see that. We are looking forward to our summertime meetup and are finalizing the dates. We have narrowed it down to either the last weekend of July, and the first weekend of August.

That's is Saturday July 28th/29th, or August 4th/5th/6th. For anyone who is interested in coming, you may send me a private message and I will count you in.

Hi All, I am the community organizer for the Edmonton Headphone Enthusiasts!

We recently got on the local paper Edmonton Journal with the story about our January meet up, I thought I'll share with you :)

    http://edmontonjournal.com/news/loc...nthusiasts-gather-to-try-out-each-others-gear

The next meet up will be in late summer as Slankoe mentioned on the post above ^^ and we hope to have 20+ enthusiasts attending.

Feel free to send me a message if you or someone you know is interested in attending. Or just to make friends :)

Just got a MCHT this afternoon. Stock 650 and DSJr. And a Fulla 2 because it's handy.

Any meets or mini-meets in Toronto? It looks like there has not been any in a couple of years...

Ahoy hoy I'm in Toronto (Markham) I can offer a DX200, Phantoms, cables and beer. I started small in vinyl 2ch, grew to high-end, then on to headphones plus dabble in iems.

I think I should preface this by saying this is by no means trying to brag, just trying to make a point : )

Last system was a $10K vinyl rig into a CMA800R + Utopias with Cardas Clear and Clear Reflection cabling. Btw this all helps when you worked at a 2ch shop : ) And I sold it all to go transportable.

This should read as a public message for any fellow canucks that have ever been curious about iems.

High-end iems can do things even headphones like Utopias can't - though the Utopias were, on a whole, slightly more engaging and involving, but it's subjective - but still, I don't regret my decision to sell off the Utopias plus a five component vinyl only system to now be able to enjoy my music anywhere I go, just even around the house is amazing on it's own!

DX200 w/amp4s (Amp8 coming out in a few days!) is one hell of a great sounding source/dac/amp trifecta, not just for a DAP. But these Phantoms are absolute must hears for anyone interested in this hobby regardless of which transducer they prescribe to.

I didn't realize there were so few fellow fellows here

    Hey Everyone,

I'm going to be in Toronto 18-21 August, Vancouver 21-30, and back to Toronto for 24hrs 30-31 on my way out.
We're doing our landing for our residence.

Would love to meet up with any and all Franadians who are free and willing.

Might be a good excuse for a mini-meet (excuse for beers) somewhere central for everyone ;)
I'm travelling with the toddler so I'm not bringing much in the way of gear - Andros and WM1A most likely, this is more about meeting some of you in person.

    Soorry eh?

I wonder if we can coordinate with @zach915m and Hivemind Cables here in Canada for a loaner? Too quiet around here and US loaners get expensive with cross-border shipping/customs.

another Canuck signing in... I have been headed down the headphone rabbithole for a while now. It is good for condo living and also getting high quality sound at a price I can afford... not to mention no room problems to deal with!!!

Pretty sure I bought my AK300 from @slankoe :headbang:

I have a Mytek Brooklyn DAC that I use with the balanced adapter to Aeon Closed by Mr. Speakers himself, along with the afore mentioned AK300 DAP with some Campfire Audio Comets.

Just thought I'd throw my name up. I'm in Vancouver, near Joyce at the moment but hoping to move to Broadway/Granville soon. Anyone feel like having a meet sometime?

Vancouverite signing in, I have the Yggdrasil and Ragnarok big Schiit stack driving HD 800 and HD 800 S. In the same house, my brother also has the LCD-X. Would be fun to see some of you locals!

If you happen to be a keyboard enthusiast, I also have a small collection of decent keyboards.

Hey me too on the keyboard front. I have Majestouch TKL with browns, EC75% from Niz with electro-capacitive TOPRE style, and a CODE keyboard with 65g zealios.

On the headphone front, I'm currently rocking the ZMF Auteur, the Aeon Flow Open, Nightowl, and Andromeda with a Cayin IHA-6 and iDSD Micro BL

A meet would be awesome. I know there's more of us out there!

Ummmm... long time Canadian meme lord here. Also calling for @Rlin987. If there's enough people we might be able to do a meet?

Nice collection you have on both headphones and keyboards! I've had the Aeon Flow C for my lab system up to two weeks ago, have been pretty happy about them but I've sold them after getting the UE LIVE which is just more comfortable to wear than closed headphones. Would love to try the Flow Open and Auteur!

In fear of derailing the post I'll respond regarding keyboards on your profile.
