Once again, it's massive gear purge time. After owning 3-4 Code-X's, I've decided to let go of all but one. I'm gonna downsize my planar setup to something more modest and focus on building a dedicated dynamic headphone system.

Please note that for the items I'm about to sell, I much prefer a trade with one of the gears listed below. Of course, you are free to shoot me a PM if you would like to pay in cash.

    - Eddie Current Zana Deux Super (220-240V unit)
    - Eddie Current Balancing Act (latest revision with Cinemag transformers, 220-240V unit)
    - Eddie Current Aficionado (220-240V unit)
    - Donald North Sonett 2 (220-240V unit)

    1. LFF Code-6 (4-screw): $1850

The Code-6 is the HE-6 counterpart of Code-X, or LFF-modded HE-6. What makes this Code-6 unique is that it was made from a 4-screw HE-6, which is superior sounding to a 6-screw. 4-screw is the early version of HE-6 that was produced in limited quantities and are very rare, even more so than a HE-5/Code-X and virtually unobtainium. There is a small dent on the right cup, where the grill ring meets the headphone. You can see it in the 2nd picture from the top.

The Code-6 comes in its stock original HE-6 box, but doesn't have the stock cable. I have a Double Helix Cable's Molecule SE22 OCC copper cable, built with Eidolic connectors and splitter and terminated with a 4-pin balanced XLR plug (please refer to the picture linked above). Most people would drive the HE-6/Code-6 from a powerful balanced output or through speaker taps (via speaker to XLR adapter). The DHC cable also comes with its stock leather carrying case. The balanced cable is $100 when purchased with the Code-6.

    2. LFF Code-X Stealth: $2350

According to LFF, this is the rarest and the best sounding Code-X ever made. Named Code-X Stealth, it has a one-of-its-kind black/dark brown color, comes with mini 4-pin XLR connectors (a feature only found in a few early Code-X units before Luis stopped doing them), and a unique carrying suitcase made for this particular set. I'm the first owner and bought it from Luis for $3200.

It comes with a generic 1/4" terminated cable, but I also have a Norne Draug 3 OCC copper cable. The Draug 3 is Norne's best copper cable to date, its clear black (looks more like dark brown) color matches well with the dark brown color of Code-X Stealth, and also comes with Eidolic connectors and 4-pin XLR plug. I'm selling the Norne balanced cable for $150.

    3. Cavalli Liquid Glass (S/N #60, 230V version): $2000 - SOLD

This is why I was hesitant about putting up a price at first. Maybe I might’ve overpaid for the Code-X Stealth in the first place, but that was the price offered for the only headphone of its build by the guy who built it. I’m not trying to make a profit here, the first Code-X I bought from here I bought for $2200. As for Code-6 mod, I had to pay extra over a regular Code-X mod to have it modded, along with the price of pad replacements and new cable.

As I stated in my first post, I prefer a trade. It doesn’t necessarily have to be the gears I listed, but if you send me a PM we could work things out and I may even offer a discount. It reduces the hassle of putting up a separate WTB, helps find potential sellers who otherwise wouldn’t consider letting go of their gears, and minimizes whatever PayPal fees that occur in the process of money transactions. Some already have contacted me and I offered a better deal.

    4. Leave your asking price up AFTER the sale. Don't delete it. Leaving the asking price helps other buyers checking market prices, reduces flipping, and is a decent courtesy. There are obvious exceptions and reasons to delete the asking price, but let it be the exception.

Updated the first post with a couple more photos and lowered the prices of all gears. The balanced cables don't have to be purchased as a bundle with the headphones. I suppose that regardless of how much the gears had cost me, many folks deemed that the prices were still too high.

Sorry for not following the forum rules, by the way. The 2-day ban was well deserved.
