Geek Wave final(?) development discussion - aka "please lord let it ship!"

Just remembered that I opted-in/paid for (lured by one of Gavin's three trillion options) one of the beta versions. Is that process still in place? Thanks

 

Here is a sneak peak for the Part 2 update coming later today or later tonight (depending on schedules). Depending on the results of Saturday's 12 hour workday for Larry, we may end up doing a Part 3 Monday or Tuesday to top off the second part.

How many 12-hour days equal... product. You don't know.

 

A) You have no idea what I think or don't think. If you have proof I don't think or think a certain way, please post that.

B) It's not my position in the company to have a public opinion over anything we do. My job is to report information, not give personal opinions publicly.

C) if you've given them no money, and have no vested interest in the company, since you've stated you won't be shopping with us, it seems you're in the wrong thread and should go attend to something else that you have a vested interest in instead of clogging this one.

 

Comm squad is providing signal. We have several pages of (mostly justified) complaints. Adding one more complaint is, at this point, noise. I’m frustrated too. Giving everybody a new post notification so you can say “this sucks” isn’t doing anything useful.
You can shoot the messenger if you want but I’d rather he keep bringing messages.

 

Glad to see some work being done and some updates. The balanced out on my A&K not working. Could use one of these.

Your posts are welcome. Thad's posts are welcome. It's hard to argue that any posts in a thread about a product many of us believe to be vapoware are noise.

 

They're noise when the posts are aimed at causing nothing but harassment to other members (not including me in this). Not to mention clogging up a thread which could be full of valid discussion and criticism and questions.

 

Thad is the least harmful person here.

There's a Report link in every post that will send a message to a mod if you feel a need to report the post for a some reason. It would have avoided your request being made public.

That said, I welcome any update to the product as I am waiting for a Geek Wave as well. I've moved on from the tomato throwing although I fully understand those who still want to express themselves in that fashion.

 

I did report him. Again, as I've stated multiple times, I have no issue with valid discussion, valid criticism, valid questions, etc. This guy reminds me of a guy over on Head-Fi who was doing literally the same exact thing to other members at Head-Fi over this exact topic. I wonder if it's the same guy.

 

Could you show me on this anatomically accurate doll where Thad touched you?

 

@mscott58 , the mods, and the community members really should get together and decide what type of thread they want to have here: one where open harassment for the sake of harassment of members is tolerated, or one where it's not tolerated and discussion can flow and a serious conversation can be had and enjoyed?
