I assume you're referring to the Zenith list. That list, up until yesterday, had a caveat above it saying 'route not finalized'. You probably didn't notice that. I'm tracking down the location of the Zenith the moment, I fixed the list from the point where I thought the item was. If it makes you happy, I will put the caveat back up while this is sorted out.

Thanks for working with me to get this sorted out.

The Midwest leg is a little out of order. I'm working with imperfect information here, because I don't know where Mystic lives. If Mystic is west of Illinois/Wisconsin, he goes before aufmerksam and me; if not, he goes after us. Either way, The Alchemist and Riddley Walker are at the end of the Midwest leg because they're the farthest east. I hope that helps.

This is a genuine effort to cut the tension, because I like you all so much (really, not sarcasm):

Tyrants and Pedants take note: I am going to gleefully shit all over the logistics for that Zenith tour when I move to Michigan, from Wisconsin, in like 3 weeks. Not only will I change time zones, but my orientation to Chicago will be completely flipped.

Same difference in Midwest. It can pinball all around in OH, MI, IL, KS, WI back and forth and then head to NY.

I guess one way to look at it is that the Midwest is never last. Stuff tends to start on the coasts because people tend to jump on it faster. I like to get rid of stuff and move it out ASAP. Not enough room in my house. This means direct to NY or someone down here.

The AZ loaner tour started at a much smaller scale with a specific request from a certain location.

And oh crap. Did I send the M1060 out yet? Maybe whoever has it can start it in the Midwest next. If there is any interest.

Yes! This, more than anything. I'm a New Yorker, born and bred, and I know how easy it is to overlook Middle America (as the famous old New Yorker cover pseudo-ironically shows). Marv gets it, possibly because he used to live in Michigan.

If the guys running the loaner programs here in America want a hand with devising the most efficient routes—because why waste participants' time and money?—I'm happy to lend a hand. PM me if I can be of service.
