I'm looking for a reasonably priced set of balanced cables for my HD650 headphones. I came across this company while looking. It seems like there might have been a few other names associated with them, possibly like Hifi Can or Relic Interconnects. I don't want to break the bank and I don't want to purchase low end cables. I tried some searches for reviews etc and have come up empty handed. What does the SBAF community know about these cablesor company? Any thoughts on something else that I might entertain if these are a no go?

A great balanced cable for the HD650 is the stock cable reterminated with Neutrik connectors. If you know anyone local to you who is reasonably comfortable soldering, it's a pretty simple job.

If you don't want to get a new HD650 cable (~$20), you can just get a male and female XLR connector and use the existing cable, then make an adapter to go from 1/4" to XLR.

I was a bit nervous when I did it myself, but it's pretty straightforward and I've now done it a couple more times without bothering to reference the website linked in the thread below.

I haven't heard of them... but the pricing seems reasonable if you don't have the tools/skillset to make your own. They aren't selling you any exotic materials beyond the vague description of "ultra-flexible oxygen free Japanese copper."

I was able to eventually find this video link. It looks as if this brand has been sold on Massdrop in the past.
