Impact Audio Cables

Hey all,

I wanted to give Lindsay from Impact Audio Cables some attention here on the forums.

His cables, in my opinion, are a pretty incredible value. Very nicely constructed and reasonably priced. Lindsay himself is great to work with and is very attentive to any requests you may have. Give him a look!

Here's the cable he made for me. Base price of $68, but I splurged on the splitter and Eidolic 1/4". Sorry for the crappy pic...just snapped quickly on my phone.

 

She was pretty quick to make my cable. Everything went smoothly. I just don't know what type of wire she uses.

 

Turnaround time for me was 1 week. He quotes 1-2 weeks on the website.

I believe Lindsay is a HE. But, I could be mistaken

Also, the wire type is listed on the website. It's in the details there somewhere...

I'm also betting he'd be willing to use something different if you requested it.

 

One more thing to add and I'll shut up. I promise he didn't offer me anything to pimp his products.

What really sold me here is the fact that you don't find a single promise on his site about his cables elevating your audio experience. No promises of pure treble or deep skull-crushing bass.

Just simple, no fuss cables at a reasonable price.

Lindsay has made 5 cables for me. Usually takes around two weeks to ship, but cables are exactly as described. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended

 

I have one for my PM-2. Lovely cables. Lindsay is very nice to deal with too.

 

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but just wanted to mention I've had good experiences with Lindsay too. Even had him make a Pono-balanced cable at one point, and all he charged extra for the custom order was the price of the second 3.5mm jack.

 

Best cable maker! The wires are not top-tier. I recommend you send the wire to him (just buy some very good OCC from DHC or Cardas, or maybe some type of trusted OCC) to do it at original price. His handcrafting skills and aesthetics in style are top-notch.

 

The Etsy page says they are on a short break, i'm in the market for an extra cable. Anyone know if they are still making cables ?

 

He does this frequently. I believe it's when his orders get to a point where he is worried about falling behind.

 

Or maybe when he's on vacation!
