ok..then it sounds that everything works fine, no LHL driver required, right?

Driver was already installed, but I just uninstalled and Windows set up the GOV2 automatically on plugging it in. There is a caveat: in Foobar2k you will not have LH Labs ASIO available, and to use WASAPI you need to set the format to 32 bit in order to get playback working. DS automatically adjusts of course.

So it looks like it's working.

Just reinstalled the driver to get LHL ASIO back and no driver signing warning encountered. Using the 3.26 driver package.

hmmm...very strange...if the 3.26 driver works then I don´t understand why lots of people were asking for the "special" LHL Win 10 driver?!?!

DirectSound - the default Win driver stack. You don't want that unless you want the Windows Mixer in the way. You would want this if you want all your computer audio routed through the Geek.

Re: Driver Signing, to be honest I haven't taken the time to figure out why some folks are getting driver signing prompts and I'm not. In the interest of full disclosure I work for Microsoft, but I'm about half a planet away from any product teams :). FWIW I just ran sigverif (Win key and type "sigverif") to enumerate all unsigned drivers on my machine and the LH Labs drivers show up as signed:

    lhlabsaudio_x64.sys 11/10/2015 3.26.0.0 Signed lhlabsaudio.cat Thesycon Software Solutions GmbH & Co. KG
    lhlabsaudioks_x64.sy 11/10/2015 3.26.0.0 Signed lhlabsaudioks.cat Thesycon Software Solutions GmbH & Co. KG

    What does your machine say?

    Thanks for the "DS" explaination.

I´m on a WIN 8.1 notebook and after checking with sigverif I almost receive the same as you:

    lhlabsaudio_x64.sys 10.11.2015 ਀ Signiert lhlabsaudio.cat Thesycon Software Solutions GmbH & Co. KG
    lhlabsaudioks_x64.sy 10.11.2015 3.26.0.0 Signiert lhlabsaudioks.cat Thesycon Software Solutions GmbH & Co. KG

strange that the driver for the sys file is not mentioned.

    Edit: using a GO2ASE

Yeah, there are a bunch that aren't mentioned as signed, unsigned or skipped.

Same driver works equally well for my GOV2 and GO2ASE.

Anybody tried to install the 2.0 Firmware?
Or is this just bricking the GO2A ...

I received 2.1 also - I don't know what has changed or if any of your concerns were addressed. I haven't checked for the startup volume issue yet.

for v2.1: startup volume is not saved/restored between power off/on of the GO2Pro.
    rats.
and it's still a pretty loud default volume start up with Andromeda (single ended) unless you have iEMatch dongle involved.

Modifying the translation based on my usage with the GO2Pro 2.0 Firmware.

After considering input from the fans, Light Harmonic has introduced the brand new V2.0 firmware for the GO2 series.

A few features have been overhauled in the new firmware:
    1) Volume Adjustment
    2) Line Out mode
    3) Intelligent Gain mode
    4) Filter selection
    5) V2.0 Filters

    1) Volume Adjustment
128 step volume control using digital attenuation + analogue gain adjustment * (see 3)

    2) Line Out mode
Hold Vol+ until the filter mode shines green (Green LED + Red (and possibly Blue) shines in the Filter LED). Amplification + volume sections is bypassed in this mode, with a maximum SE output of 3.2V
(For balanced output, please use TRRS + TRS to XLR cables, using the L+ L- R+ R- signals from the TRRS connection and the ground from the TRS connection)

    3) Intelligent Gain mode
The GO2 series will increase gain automatically once you hit the -2.0dB mark of the current gain. I.E., if you are in low gain and you increase the volume to -2.0dB, it will switch automatically to medium gain.

    4) Filter selection
Press Vol+ and Vol- simultaneously to change filter modes. They will cycle in the order of: TCM (green) -> SSM (red) -> FTM/FRM (blue) (My order is blue (default) -> red -> green)

    5) V2.0 Filters
Based of the Da Vinci Mk2's DSD engine, we created something similar for the GO2 series. This leads to a new experience, especially in FTM/FRM mode, with even smoother highs and better imaging. DSD playback in TCM mode has better frequency extension

Do you know if this 2.1 FW is also available for the GO2A SE?
I saw on this Chinese page a FW2.0 SIG version but if there is a newer one.. I would like to use that.

Opening a ticket...hmmm...who will be assigned to it since Gina and Manny aren't around anymore and by when will it be responded?

actually, I don't know if the 2.1FW works with GO2A SE or not.
or if the same firmware packaging can be applied across the 2 different models.

if anyone finds out (via Support ticket or bravery in risking bricking a unit), please reply here.

So did you use the GO2Pro_2V0_SIG version with your GO2Pro SE already?
