Just more LH BS. They even treat their employees as they treat their backers. Hilarious.

Try to keep an open mind. The geek out series is still a lot of people's mainstay device and helped bring headfi to the masses. Hopefully the wave ships one day :p

Can someone with the 2.1 firmware for the regular GO2A pm me? Been out of the loop for quite a while and would like to upgrade

EDIT: thank you @jayeshrc for getting back to me so quick.

EDIT 2: Im actually pretty impressed that a simple firmware update lowered the hiss so much...the other most obvious change is an increase in definition in the highs, most noticeable with cymbals on some not so great metal recordings.

Wait, how are those of us with a GO2A supposed to get the firmware update? Is it really expected that we'll ask randos on the internet to send us the file?

On that note, I'll be eternally grateful to anyone who can send me a copy of the 2.1 firmware.

ETA: OK, i see that I'm supposed to file a support case with LH Labs. Based on my past experience, I expect that to be addressed never, but I'll keep my fingers crossed. This also reinforces my theory that the only difference between the base and infinity versions is firmware.

Anyone have GO 2A Infinity firmware? I think this one is one 1.5.

I have the GO2PRO 2.1 firmware. But I don't know if it would work with the GO2A?

Nice! Not sure that either of those would work for GO2A Infinity but they'll be useful to some folks for sure.

This thread started in 2015, but there was one before that in CS too. I kind of wish it did go down back then. A lot of people, including me, wouldn't have lost their money. Here's to the suckers in 2018 and 2019 though.

Just so you know, the GO2A SE @jowls referenced is in my possession. It's been non-functional for months now and is a paperweight. Another guy here I met up with last weekend told me about the unit he has had in RMA with you for the past year or so. Now I'm almost afraid the tickets will go somewhere, because for now, at least I have a paperweight.

I wanted to see if a FW update would help resuscitate to 2A, but the 'download firmware' link is now behind the "event horizon" of the ticketing system.

The warranty stuff is just unacceptable. @LHCommSquad, it's where you can have the most impact.

The lack of warranty support is why I haven't bought a GO2A.

Guys, if you need a firmware update, just start a ticket and clearly label it "Firmware" or something similar and let us know what exact model you have. I'll be trying to go through these the next few days. BTW, you should never mix and match the firmware for various models. It won't work and you'll brick your device. Each model has its own specific firmware. If you start a ticket, you can let me know directly the ticket number as well.

We've had issues with RMA work / units being not returned / etc. I'm actively working with Larry on reviewing the RMA process and situation and making any corrections necessary.

Good to see something concrete being tried, @LHCommSquad . I wish you (and everybody involved, including customers) good luck! Gotta start somewhere...

Well, no guarantees, but the issue is being acknowledged and at least reviewed. I hope we can come up with something.

Sadly, for LHLabs acknowledging a problem is a start.

It's immaterial because of the saint that uploaded the files upthread, but I opened a case to get an updated firmware A WEEK AGO and it has had ZERO response. Whatever influence you think you might have on LH Labs' sad excuse for support, it's not working even a little bit. Anyone who spends their money with LH Labs in 2017 is just asking to piss their money away on faulty hardware with absolutely no support. If I were you, I'd run like hell to any employer that actually cares about their customers.
