Long term archiving of digital files

This seems like a very good solution:

 

M-Disc ( sometimes I prefer to skim read text, rather than watch a movie)... Interesting, been around a few years, and I never heard of it.

Good for stuff that one wants to simply put in the safe. Of course, the proof of the pudding is: can one still eat it in a thousand years?

(And is there still a device available that does so)
