    Dear SBAF Community,

We heard about this equipment many months ago, but without a release date.

Well, the MoFi analog equipment releases are now around the corner and you can order now.

I would highly recommend the phono stages (without even EVER hearing one) as they are designed by Tim de Paravicini.
Easily one of my favorite audio designers in the world, as of this point in my audio journey.

The turntables are solidly designed as well.

I don't think anyone can go wrong with this equipment, especially at these kind of prices for such a high level of sonic quality.

Mobile Fidelity - StudioDeck Turntable (No Cartridge)
Mobile Fidelity - StudioDeck+ Turntable (StudioTracker)
Mobile Fidelity - StudioPhono Phono Preamplifier

Mobile Fidelity - UltraDeck Turntable (No Cartridge)
Mobile Fidelity - UltraDeck+ Turntable (UltraTracker)
Mobile Fidelity - UltraPhono Phono Preamp/Headphone Amplifier

Yes! I'm very excited to hear impressions on these. I like that MoFi is entering the market at reasonable price points with solid designs.

Would these be a valid alternative to saving for a VPI Classic or a used VPI?

The price point is definitely more attainable and a much as I like looking for used deals, I also see the merits of buying new if I would keep the equipment for life.

    Hey bud!

I technical details and the team behind the turntables and phono stages are really top end. I haven't heard the turntable, so hard to say, but I feel it is a step below the VPI classic in build quality and implementation. But again, different price bracket as well.

I would buy it and and just get into listening to records. You build up your experience and down the line you can simply upgrade to a better turntable. With the MoFi table, maybe throw on a mono cartridge and enjoy two different turntable sound signatures.

The phono stage I am confident about as they have been designed and blessed by Tim de Paravicini. He doesn't know how to design for a price point. He just designs the with the sound in his mind. He can simply NEVER EVER put out mediocre sound. Not in this lifetime. Buy the phono with confidence.

Oh they finally came out? Definitely interested to hear reviews as well as I may be in the market for a phono pre above the TC-750 I currently own.

Long time coming, which is probably a good thing. Any thoughts from our TT experts on the design of the arms these decks are using? I'm still too much of a TT neophyte to make an informed opinion on them.

That phono stage/headphone amp would make a great candidate for a tour...

Based on the links @shaizada posted, the StudioDeck is $999 without/1149 with StudioTracker Cart and the UltraDeck is $1799 without/1999 with UltraTracker cart

Bumping to see if anyone on the forum has pulled the trigger on either of the phono stages and wants to share their thoughts.

I'd love to pick up an UltraDeck but I hate to be the first one through the gate.

A few people on SHF have picked up the various turntables, phonos, and cartridges. Multiple people have said the UltraDeck is like listening to reel to reel tape (their words, not mine, and I acknowledge the hyperbole factor at play with new gear).

I listened to the entry level cart (Studio Tracker) for an hour or so when I was buying my 1200GRs. I felt it was overly warm and a bit muddy. Maybe not fully broken in?
