    I don't understand. Is 9 > 10 ?

Can't wait for all the K10s to flood the resale market.

If they are able to achieve a superior sound with 1 less driver per side, than I think it's time to revisit their line up. That is unless they are pursuing a different sound signature from their K10. I find their description vague so it's hard to tell. Their take on a neutral response?

Black Friday is only 4 and a bit months away. expect 10-15% off. PS I won't sell my k10 just because there is a new flagship. The loss on CIEMS is just not worth it to sell.

It sounds like they're going for a different, rather than a "better" sound. Hopefully it is my dream compliment to the K10s, bka a custom andromeda. Three IEMs in (4, Dulce, and K10) and Noble has yet to disappoint me so I'll probably blind pre-order an SLA version.

I wonder if the twin large CI (largest armature) drivers of the K10 have been reduced to one or if a different set of bass drivers are used for the Katana.

Seems to be the "common" 9 driver approach, I believe this was the design philosophy behind the Earsonics S-EM9. Single large bass driver.

Haha, considering sales have dropped enough to warrant a 20% birthday discount (15 last year), its about time.

And of course, prices must go up, despite cost arguably staying the same or going down, how else do you stay relevant ;).

Sometimes i wish Fitear will get serious about iems, expand and take orders from the rest of the world at japan prices. That should cool the ciem market the f**k down.

K10 should be no more than $400. Good to see its resale price getting cut tremendously.

What I'd like to know is what about this new IEM justifies $1850 besides that the current flagship is $1650. Up up and away.

The k10 ciem is so far the only piece of gear I have 100% been satisfied with. A lot of people give it shit because it doesn't have bright, harsh, glarey treble.

It is very resolving yet still easy to listen to. I don't want to critically listen to stuff when I'm on the go or at he gym..
Compare to total headphones the k10 is competitive at almost half the price. Think LCD-4 but slightly less laid back.

Noble has learned how easy it is to part a fool from their money.

I'm not saying Noble products are bad BTW, just overpriced.
