I'm a big DT fan, but I just can't get into The Astonishing. I love the musicianship as always, but there's very little that is memorable to me after a few listens.

Below are a few more new releases I've been enjoying as of late...

    Helios - Yume

If you haven't heard of Keith Kenniff, I highly recommend his work as both Helios and Goldmund. Yume is a recent offering that I've been enjoying immensely and below are two tracks from it.

    Helios - Pearls

    Helios - Embrace

port-royal - where are you now

I've been a big fan of port-royal for years now, since their debut "Flares", and their newest album, "where are you now", has been receiving high acclaim. I have to admit that I do prefer the earlier stuff in general though, but this new album is growing on me.

port-royal - the last big impezzo

    MMOTHS - Luneworks

Debut album, but expecting great things from Jack Colleran already.

    MMOTHS - Eva (Official Video)

    Ocoeur - Reversed

I've been a fan since his first physical release, Light As A Feather, a few years back and Franck is still pushing the boundaries with his latest release, Reversed.

    Ocoeur - Progression (Ambient)

While I'm at it, why not a few more... so much good music being released this year already!

Ólafur Arnalds and Nils Frahm - Collaborative Works and Trance Frendz

Two of my favorite modern classical/electronic artists finally coming together to release proper collaborations. Can't wait for them to do a US tour together... recommended!

Trance Frendz — An evening with Ólafur Arnalds and Nils Frahm

    Nonkeen - The Gamble

Another side project of Nils Frahm, along with two of his childhood friends.

    Nonkeen - Ceramic People

Mary Lattimore - At The Dam

Interesting ambient album filled with atmospheric sounds, field recordings, as well as melodic harp, all filled with effects, delays, and decay. Plus, it was just released off the pioneer label Ghostly International.

Mary Lattimore - Otis Walks Into The Woods

Lubomyr Melnyk - Rivers and Streams

Lubomyr is at it once again... this guy has quite the life story and is also way out of the box in how he approaches his music, which in my opinion are two great traits to have in the art-form.

    Lubomyr Melnyk - Parasol

    Hope you all enjoy!

I was initially worried about M83 - Junk as a release as I love the band and I wasn't feeling the early songs they released. Album came out and I bought it hoping for the best. Faith rewarded. Album is really good. Can't judge an album by what songs record exec's choose to release as singles. The song below is one that gets my head bobbing.

BADBADNOTGOOD's 4th album IV just came out. Pitchfork gave it a 7 (not bad), and my favorite line of the review is "It’s something that would be played in the classier sections of Rob Gronkowski's party cruise. "

This is my favorite track from the album featuring Sam Herring from Future Island (what a voice). Enjoy!

For the female vocal lovers - here is a track with Charlotte Day Wilson

    @JoshMorr

future Island singer was great live on Austin City Limits. Not sure I like this cut, seems like a track being played back on a reel to reel with a bad pinch roller, haha

Second cut has a bit of zero seven vibe

thanks for the samples, will check out more of their stuff.

I don't know why these haven't been posted yet but the new Blink-182 album is pretty good.

Also the new RHCP album is pretty swell as well.

If electronic music is your cup of tea or your head is made of bass then Bassnectars new album Unlimited is just for you.

OH MAN! I totally forgot about the new Radiohead album. Feels like In Rainbows and Ok Computer.

It's maybe my favorite album they've done.

    +1 on the Radiohead.

Been enjoying this new soul album by Gregory Porter "Take me to the alley." Great vocal performances.

Also bee digging the Blank Face LP by Schoolboy Q. Great modern west coast hip-hop.

I just picked up the Flock of Dimes album. F-ing great. It comes out Friday, but my record shop got it in today, it was playing, and I said "please". This is the solo act of the lead singer from Wye Oak. Great music, great vocals. Electronic, but not overly reliant on the same. For the wary, the album is streaming free this week at npr: http://www.npr.org/2016/09/15/493372079/first-listen-flock-of-dimes-if-you-see-me-say-yes

edit: added album cover and sample track

Man, this song. I know you posted about it ages ago @MuppetFace, but I was just rewatching the last episode of Togetherness, and I finally clued in that it was playing while the credits rolled. Nice!

I am looking forward to the new XX album.

Now let us hope it is near the level of their first album...
