I don't get any sense of "American Exceptionalism" (I don't like that term at all) or even "Buy American" from the website. It just seems to be providing information.

I find the info interesting. I have been interested in where things are made (yeah, globalization muddies that distinction big time) since I was a little kid. I don't know why. I'm old enough to remember when Japan was still recovering from WWII (1960s) and I could often spot toys that were "Made in Japan" just by glancing at them and then I would sometimes verify my guesses. I remember being careful handling the tin ones, it was easy to get cut.

I recall when I got John Entwistle's third solo album and feeling he was a bit behind the times when this song came out (1973):

I was listening to the album on components that were made in USA (Shure and Acoustic Research), Germany (Dual) and Japan (Marantz/Superscope 1060 integrated amp). I was quite happy with all of those components at the time.

I still don't like the site and think it's dumb. Some of the brands I'd rather not be associated with the USA. The site is an insult to American audio manufacturers that actually make good shit. Good shit transcends being listed on a stupid American Made Audio website.

No thanks. The site gets about 30 people to visit a month and most users go away after 100 seconds. The Eddie Current website (hastily and cheesily designed) gets about five times more visitors.
