I have been using HA-200 for almost a month now in the dual mono configuration with Teac UD-501.
My impressions are only for the dual mono setup, I did not test them much in a single stereo mode. Fist of all they are very quiet. I used t5p.2 with DIY balanced cable: Mogami 2534, Neutrik 4 pin with an adapter, and Double Helix connectors, and there was no noise of any kind no matter what the volume. That unusual with t5p.2 and class A amps in my experience. I compared dual HA-200 to Talisman T-3H class A, old but still pretty good, and sound stage, instrument separation is much better. But the best part is that HA-200 have similar sound signature as Talisman which has "Midnight Amplifier" engraved on the faceplate and sounds great with reference headphones like HD600 (almost like HD650) or my AKG K240 DF studio monitors I bought in ..1989. I will be able to try HA-200 monoblocks with HD800S and HE500 in few days but so far they sound very good and promising.
Thank you Armaegis for an excellent review of those amps and responses on the used deals thread, they really exceeded my expectations.
