    Tried to read it. Thing is the author keeps falling back on binaries: men vs girls, critics vs teenyboppers etcetera. The author is missing the point and reminds me of a sour preacher trying to impose a grim vision versus a world where music is to be enjoyed by everyone. I am past that point in my life. Enjoy what you enjoy and let people be.

    This trend of over-emphasising gender, race, sexuality and other aspects is tricky. I do not like it unless the person doing it is qualified and has the research to back it up and I do not get that impression.

    I am a blogger. When I think I have a source that clarifies a topic, I link it. The article seemed lazily written on purpose.
