    I use three festivals, five Arenas, two Google homes and two other devices connected to Chromecast audio devices all interspersed. They group any which way you want.

    Hmm... then I'm stuck at the moment.
    If the Riva's are capable of gapless play I guess the "rest" is too:
    - Minimserver, BubbleUPnPserver, BubbleUPnP (Or Linn Kazoo).... If I'm not mistaken they are all supporting it.
    - my NAS can't either be the showstopper since gapless play works in my living room system (Pi2/w picoreplayer connected to my external USB DAC controlled via iPeng (iPhone) or Orange Squeeze (Android tab)).

    So any tip what else I should try?

    While I can't speak to the RIVA WAND series specifically, I can say that the Turbo X is bonkers amazing for the form factor. I've been using one for quite a while now and we love it. Easy enough for the wife and kid to use, super portable, sounds great.
