So I have this cheap sony record player I got at Goodwill for $15. It had full auto features, but sometimes it just messed up. I decided, why wrestle with that? Why not just remove the system. So I stripped it to just its bare essentials, and the integrated pre amp.

I plan to move it to a plank of wood eventualy, ditching the plastic chassis.

Final(until wood time) Product. Looks about the same, except for the missing switches and the extra switch.

Now I can move the stylus up and down, turn the motor on and off, and control speed. And I got rid of bassicaly all the internals.

    Why?
    IDK...
