Which chain do you think is simply super special and better at its thing than anything else ?

Idea of this thread is to make some sort of condensed source of information about what is possible and feasible for those who hadn't yet tried such things in combination.

    Rules:
    - Chain can consist of anything that does audio from start to end. Clip+ and Koss PortaPro is a system.
    - You need to specify the significant parts of the chain. Modds, specific parts of your TT, balanced or se etc etc that matter.
    - You don't need to specify parts of chain that do not necessarily dictate the outcome much, like a decent cheap R-2R dac
    - Short description of the qualities and why it is special.

HD650Dyn --> Jot --> Affordable decent multibit dac
This chain hurls the enthusiast to doorsteps of high end league for around 1k$ total. I don't know of another system that does that for this little.
You can have 80%+ of the speed, clarity and clean slam that only totl tube amps can do for x times more money with x times more expensive headphones. I have not heard these qualities before in a sub 1k system. It's a lot of sound for modest amount of $$.

Audio Technica MSR7 --> Laconic NBM --> your slammin' source of choice
The fun factor is totally spoiling. The slightly sloppy bass, the clean fast and tight response from otherwise dry and raspy MSR-7 is making me LOL every time I listen to this setup. It's simple stupid fun.

HD800X --> DNA Stratus with Sylvania double plates --> SFD-1 dac/ with good CDP
Organic and romantic yet clear take of your favourite acoustical performance. Most enjoyable string quartet performance from headphone setup I know.

    * I intended it to become a guide. In the end we should merge the results into this first post
** All the systems are up to discussion and need at least 3 backers to make the list.
