I will say you lot are a good crowd.

@jexby it was a lot bigger than the revive. It's a wave signature chassis.

I didn't realize that due to listening to the people, Larry is stuffing:
    1. A mini PCIe SSD (hoping it's tiny)
    2. 2 SD card readers
    3. The femtoclocks
    4. A big ass screen
    5. Who knows wtf else
In the thing. It's not ak380 big but it's beefy.

I was pleasantly surprised by a lot of rigs. @JK47's speakers were the highlight of the speaker rooms. They need subs but outside of bass extension they were wonderful.

BTW, I should also mention that I really like the sound and presentation of @dsavitsk amplifiers. There's a lot of understated elegance to them and great sound too. I liked his solid state amp a little better than the other, but both were awesome.

Also enjoyed @Donald North amps and the Studio. Awesome gear.

    So many lulz this weekend.

@Ryu asked me, "So... That girl in your display pic... is that like... your girlfriend?"

Anyway, I'll post impressions tomorrow. Needless to say, I'm buying @thegunner100's Jotunheim, and I am removing the inner spider of the 650's, per the very best sounding pair; @SoupRKnowva's.

Also "this is just simple a 6SL7 tube... nothing to see here" @bazelio ;)

Wow. First audio meet and the bar has been set real high. I demoed so many headphones and so many different combinations of amps and dacs. I'll post the impressions of them in the coming day or so. Shoutout to all you guys that I met and got to hangout with. @drfindley ,@Mikoss ,@thegunner100 ,@bazelio, @ibzrg1570 and @TMoney for eating food with me and having a merry time. @anetode ,@Chris F ,@JK47 for being apart of the sick mini meets and being generally cool dudes. Thanks to @SoupRKnowva for not murdering me in my sleep. Finally to @Marvey for putting this great meet together. If you talked to me and I didn't mention you please speak up!

Thanks, that speaker rig was just as much @struggles as it was mine. Thanks @struggles for putting them together with me and combining the gear to make it happen. It was a team effort.

Some quick impressions of my own:

    1. I get the Utopia now. They didn't sound great the last time I heard them at a meet, but with a smaller crowd and better rooms, I can hear why Tyll took the HD800S off the wall of fame. My favorite chain of the meet was Utopia through @TMoney's new ECP amp and Chord Dave.
    2. BW2 is probably the only amp that doesn't make my HD800S sound like an ice pick after switching from HD6X0; the 800S sounds musical and not purely analytical but retains the soundstage and detail that made me love it in the first place. Definitely keeping an eye out for one of these in the FS forum.
    3. Got a quick taste of Andromeda and Campfire's newest IEMs. I was expecting to like the Dorado best based on the graphs, but it sounded a bit boomy and veiled when switching immediately from Andromeda. Lyra II's upper mids and treble sounded excellent but not enough bass for me. Vega bridged the gap between the Dorado and Lyra II with the slight V-shape I like in my IEMs. I'm looking forward to trying the loaner Dorado and Lyra II over an extended period.
    4. Denny's Super Blackberry Pancake Breakfast is good. The tang of the blackberry sauce and the bit of crumble on top really complemented each other. Excellent presentation.
    5. This meet was way more fun than CanJam. I didn't get to try everything because I was having conversations with people and not just going from setup to setup. No regrets.

Maybe a geek wave prototype case? Just a guess. I like the new red color theme lh labs is doing. Nice to have a color other than silver or black!
    Edit oops question already answered

Great meet, everyone! Big thanks to @Marvey , @zerodeefex and anyone else who spent time organizing the event. Thanks to everyone who lugged out gear, too! The highlight for me was putting faces to forum handles and chatting with those of you I could. I really enjoyed brief chats with @dsavitsk @Donald North and Craig! @Mikoss @Chris F @Ryu @thegunner100 @RKML0007 @SteelCannon @Ryu @Wfojas @TMoney @AllanMarcus @ibzrg1570 @insidious meme @ultrabike @SoupRKnowva @shaizada @CEE TEE @drfindley @sphinxvc (Gear Master EAST - not WEST!) and everyone else -- really good times! This epic meet could have gone two days without breaking a sweat. I think the first time I glanced at my watch it was already 4:00PM. Looking forward to the man @HitmanFluffy 's take on what he heard. I would have enjoyed spending more time listening to everything myself, but time was limited. What I did hear were a couple great member rigs, and some up and coming products: @dsavitsk with the DSHA-3 - in both the transistor and transformer configurations. Both simply impressive, and congrats to @TMoney for taking the red one home with him. The ECP sound signature is just unmistakably musical and natural (through a Chord DAVE no less!). @Donald North 's new offering, I wish I could have spent more time with. That's probably my only regret from the day, and I am going remember how that amp sounded for quite some time. The Audio Note OPTs were particularly special in their layered and nuanced presentation through modded HD650s. And, of course, the Eddie Current Studio needs no introduction. Great volume knob. LOL, who wrote that? Anyhow, let's do it again, kids! The sooner, the better!!

I liked @RKML0007 and @bazelio all out assault on digital serving comparison, with some microrendu on the side, as well. It wasn't conclusive enough, but you could hear, by switching the Lync and Rednet side by side. Unfortunately (to me) the volume differences made the differences harder to figure out, f. Massive chains deserve their own writeup.

I heard @n3rdling Accuphase again through his Blue Hawaiis and Orpheus Clone, and I thought that this was really end game for this direction.

And @brencho 's system in the speaker room came together in spades. I could have spent (and I did, actually) hours listening to that setup. Room with no reflections, topflight vinyl (I kept wondering why there were no ticks at all @drfindley then I realized), killer synergy @shaizada, great table @Marvey, hats off to all of you. People may not realize how very hard it is to get something to sound that good.

Oh, and the Sonus Faber headphones were a surprise. Like finding a Kardashian with any kind of talent, surprise. But in a good way. Sorry I didn't get your names but thanks for bringing those. Made my day.
