Speaking of 'can't read', I'm confused. I'm #25 on the list. When I got my Shipping Survey, I understood that the pattern for the mod was going to
be made available for free, but in this thread, I keep reading about people sending money for parts. Confused.

You pay for shipping on pre-existing parts.

50 pairs of the mod are being created (laser cut) by zerodeefex. If you are #25 on the list this means you will be receiving an actual production pair of the mod.

The fee is to offset some production costs as well as shipping.

Dubiousmike pointed to this list to sign up for waiting. Is that true, or did this close already. If so, I want to sign up too, if the pdf isn't out yet.

Has the production of this mod stopped? I haven't seen any progress in a few weeks, according to the list on page one.

I've had some personal stuff to attend to. I'll be posting the PDF before the mods ship and anyone who wants to back out can. No new spots will open on the list though as I don't want to own production of these permanently.

I'm thinking about picking up some of the material and trying my luck at hand cutting (no super cool lasers available). The material looks pretty thick - anyone try to use scissors or some other cutting implement?

Thanks zerodeefex. I'll probably pick up a 2'x10' and give it a shot. If it turns out to not be a disaster, I'll make some for others who didn't get in on laser-awesomeness if they can live with hand-cut imperfect-ness.

If I had to pay that much shipping I'd probably go a as big as you think you might be able to use up.

Is that the exact one? I found someone helpful and willing to ship it to me, just gotta verify with you, before I pull the trigger.

Also please post that PDF haha, I want to compare it to my own template, should be fun!

That's quite crazy for a rug liner. Have you tried forwarding companies since there appears to be free shipping within US?

I got my liner today, but it looks a bit different than pics I've seen of "the material." I'll post a pic later.

Similar but different, I think. Agree?

Just ordered the rugpads shipping using viabox will be around 40$ instead of 99$. I hope they accept the forwarding service and don't just cancel it.

When you get the stuff could you send me some material in an envelope? I'm right next door ;)

    I'll pay of course. Paypal.
