I insert my Symbio tips by rolling them between my fingers, inserting in ear and then holding for a few seconds. Yesterday I noticed that the foam within the rubber was torn into pieces. I'm guessing this happened from the rolling over time. Maybe I'm an aggressive roller. Has this happened to anyone else? Either way I won't be rolling anymore. I think I get the same seal by pulling back on my ear while inserting.

I should mention that I'm a fairly heavy user listening to them almost every day on my walk and bus ride.

I found squeezing/rolling to be a bit too much trouble and just push & hold until they seat in place. I think the foam is basically just earplug material, so it would probably wear out after repeated squeezing. But not being in direct contact with ear oils, I would expect it to last quite a while.

Yes, it did wear out after repeated squeezing.
