    How does it do that, when the post doesn't mention power cables or any apparent effects there-in? Not that it would constitute "proof" of anything even if it did.

    No, it's just a programming port; several of Schiit's products have them.

    Because the poster could hear difference in cable prior to Eitr and Eitr isolates DAC from power of source.

    If you want to talk about the effects of power cables on sound, I'm sure there are 900 threads on Head-Fi and 2-3 here that would be better.

    Since power cables are not even in the chain on the Eitr, maybe we shouldn't try to steer the discussion in that direction.

    Yup, folks need to understand that isolation from the source is one of the major elements in the design of Eitr.

    I would wager that folks here fully understand this.

    Regardless, it says nothing AT ALL about power cables or their effect on sound ... PURELY that electrical noise has an effect.

    With iPhone and original camera kit, it shows playing music on phone, switches to 48K on Yggdrasil with no sound however; works perfectly with an iPad (in 44k).

    I am still confused. So what you meant is "USB cables (which carry the +5V and GND in addition to the D+ and D-) make a difference" right, not "power cables"? Because power cables look like this and I'm pretty sure don't have anything to do with the Eitr.
