If I didn't already have a chain going (Which I got some very, very good prices on), that'd be a pretty tempting buy.

 

That's like $1120usd which seems pretty good, if the seller ships to the US. I'm not in the market for one currently but if I was I would jump on it. The amp section in those is pretty good (although I would skip the onboard DAC).

 

You can get a new LCD-3 and IFI pro Ican for $2300 from adorama. Sell the new LCD-3 and keep the iCan and itll end up costing similar or less.

 

Would generally be a good idea, but import + shipping to Canada would make that prohibitively expensive for us Canucks.

ad states 630 shipped but the guy is in a bind and would sell them in the mid 500 range it sounds like, just in case anyone is curious to hear the Paradox Slant without the risk of losing much in the process.

 

$630 is pretty cheap as it is for Slants.
Guy sounds like he has it bad, it would seem in bad taste to low ball him. I'm actually surprised it's still up for grabs. I would personally buy them myself if not for some other things I'm buying.

No you misunderstand me. I've been PMing with him and he really needs to sell them, even if it means doing it for like 550 or whatever cause he's in a bad spot. I'm relaying that here in case someone would buy them. Not suggesting that he be taken advantage of, and I agree that 600 for slants is a steal. I'm considering buying them as well but like you my priorities are with other things right now so that's the only thing preventing me from picking them up, I loved them when I had a pair last year.

 

There is a Schiit Saga up on eBay from a big reseller for $299 OBO plus shipping with returns allowed. I would jump on it but I am waiting for Vidar and will get both together.

Edit: I said screw it made an lowball offer of $250 and he countered $275. I am not going to proceed because I may make the jump to Gungnir Multibit and end up with Freya.
Edit 2: I decided to just go for Saga in the FS section, I have no restraint. I'm a loser, baby.

Good decks, the key is to find one that hasn't been beat to death by a DJ. This one comes with a Denon cart FWIW. Echo is very reputable, if they say something is in nice shape, it is-from my experience, buy with confidence, which is half the battle with an SL-1200.

Utopias for $4,300 CAD

Not the most insane deal ever for Canucks, but once you factor into the savings on sales tax, is a pretty decent discount overall.

(Anywhere between $950 and $1,450 off from retail price, depending on province. Though the difference is big enough you could just use a forwarder and save money at that point.)

 

Someone's got a Yggdrasil up on eBay that's only at $1,226 so far.
