Lyr 2 and Bifrost (not sure what model it is, but the rumour pipeline is hyping a new Bifrost upgrade soon) for $800 CAD, including shipping. Pretty damn good deal. Especially if Schiit keeps with their warranty renewals when upgrading a product, which I can't imagine they'd stop doing.

 

Nice, good to see the prices for the BW have been inching upwards since I sold mine, also in Singapore. That tends to happen to the good gear.

I hope it's not because stereophile, on their Facebook page, stupidly said the Yggdrasil uses an "obsolete" chip.

I used to have one of these. It's a very nice integrated unit, and I'd say hard to beat for that price.

Pick up a much cheaper HD800 and SDR mod it. It will cost less and be a better headphone. There are loads of deals to be had for those.

(HD800S fixes the treble spike, but adds mild distortion to the bass to try and thicken it. SDR mod more or less fixes the treble spike without having to get the more expensive 800S with the bass distortion.)

 

Price is $650 according to the ad. Good thing too. $1200 + shipping for a Sonett 1 is way over priced.

 

That was a bit of a joke with Rockin_Zombie as he had just posted another of msommers ads for a Gungnir Multibit and asking that someone in tdot buy it for the sake of his being able to audition. Zombie has the 800S and I have the Gungnir Multibit. I'd be curious to hear the 800S, sure, but mostly just for the sake of comparing a headphone of almost the same price to the EFlows I bought a few weeks ago (my first headphones in that higher price bracket).

With Gungnir Multibit,Mjo2,EFlow I imagine my next upgrade being an amp and keep an eye on the used audio sites for a Liquid Crimson.
