Vancouver, BC Fall/Winter Meet?

Just throwing this out to see the interest. There hasn't been an audio meet in Vancouver since long.

 

YVR is my home town in many ways (graduated from Eric Hamber). Haven't been back in ages, but hope you guys/gals have a great meet!

 

Small world. My wife taught at Eric Hamber from ~2005 - 2012.

 

Grad '83... LOL

 

This would be fun, but I'm not sure if I would be in town. Also, I'd be happy to bring some gear if people were interested I'm not sure what to do for a source though. I could bring my laptop, but I only have 320kbps MP3's on it due to its silly small HD space, which might piss some people off who like lossless. I could delete some stuff and make a small lossless playlist? I'm open to suggestions. Maybe we could use someone else's source?

I wonder if Travis at the Headphone Bar would be interested in either coming/maybe bringing some gear, or hosting at his shop (maybe we could throw him some cash, or promise to buy a bunch of stuff?) If you guys are in Vancouver and haven't visited the Headphone Bar, I highly recommend it!

I'm in Scotland often, so I might not be able to make it depending on when the event happens/if it happens at all.

 

If it happens here is the list of stuff I can certainly bring:

- Elekit TU8600 with Lundahl LL2270 upgrade and an assortment of tubes

- Gungnir Multibit, maybe with Gen 5 USB

- HD650 modded

 

I'm very interested! We could ask Travis, but a low-key event works just fine for me as well.

Hivemind Cables is now the Canadian distributor of ZMF headphones, it'd be great if we could borrow a pair or two to audition at an event like this.
