What are you listening to now 80s edition (although late 70s new wave is OK too)

Saga was definitely one of Canada's most famous bands, and was very popular in Germany. Worlds Apart was their most famous album, and in my opinion is their best one. Amnesia is just rich with a sick bass line and some pretty cool 80's sound synth stuff. I love the melodies in a lot of their guitar licks too, they're impressively clean.

Another crazy good tune by the infamously dorky looking Chick Corea. The bassist John Patitucci is just out of this world! While not nearly as FUCKING AMAZING as Return to Forever, the Chick Corea Elektric band had some pretty darn good songs.
Plus, it proudly spouts it's digital master.

That was a kick ass bitchin band, heard them live a few times. GRP was proudly digital in the eighties! I think David Weckl and John Pattituci still play locally.

I was really enjoying this earlier tonight. The simplicity of a great song, simple arrangement, and real talent.

This song is becoming a personal favourite. Makes me want to turn up my speakers. "Let's Go Crazy!"

It's a remaster ... but still the right era.
