    Moving a cheap and old dac worth $200 on a good day to my bedroom setup and I'm noticing that the SQ falls off a cliff via laptop optical input. If anyone happens to have a decent but not expensive DDC they don't need anymore please let me know!

    A secondhand Eitr would be probably the most I'd want to spring for but I think they are in high demand at the moment.

    used original idsd nano! Find one for like $50-75 somewhere. It's surprisingly decent (better than Modi MB USB).

    I have a little Fanmusic USB>Coax (RCA) thing I picked up for a reason I can't remember that now just sits on my desk mostly under a pile of random stuff. I might even have two. I'd be happy to send one over to see if it can do enough. PM me your address and I could probably get it out today.
