    Thanks Torq.
Seattle is starting to cook. Few places in the world prettier than PNW when you are on the water.
    Enjoy.

What little of it one can see right now with all the smoke blowing in from the Eastern wildfires and hazing shit up! Hell, last night could barely see across to Alki.

    Thank god for central air!

Some of our views, starting in the dining room, on a CLEAR day ...

Awesome location! You must live right by Pike Place Market? I recognize it because my wife has family in Redmond and we visit Seattle 1-2 times a year.

One block over from Pike Place "Hill Climb" and one block (it might be two) over from the actual Market.

Close enough we just shop there on a whim.

    Holler if you're in town!

I live by the ferry dock in Fauntleroy, south end of Lincoln Park in West Seattle. It's a little cooler here by the water but I can't even see Vashon or Bainbridge Islands this evening because of the smoke, worst air conditions I can remember as the air is usually so clean here. On the positive side, I'm ordering an Eitr to fit between my Microrendu and my Yggdrasil.

I know it well! Nice spot! We were looking at a house there (three houses up from the ferry dock, to the right as you look out to the water) about six months ago. Only didn't buy it because the parking was only two spots, on the pavement, and at rush hour you couldn't get into them without fighting the ferry back up that was only to happy to ignore the "don't block this entrance" markings.

Lovely area, great views and nicely protected to diving off the property though!

I live just 'up the hill' from the fauntleroy ferry dock.
And the way I dealt with the ferry traffic is by M/C.
And avoid the area entirely during rush hr.

And the smoke is the worst I can remember.
The source seems to be the wild fires in BC up north.
