Selling my Gungnir Multibit that has been modded for use as Gumbreya. Please read this whole post before purchasing.

Price: $775 shipped for the modded Gungnir Multibit, CONUS only.

The mod brings out the direct dac chip outputs, bypassing the analog output stage. It can then be connected to a Freya, effectively giving the Gungnir Multibit a tube output stage. This sale is for the Gungnir Multibit part only, you need to supply your own Freya. The freya does not need to be modded.

The direct dac outputs are brought out using an svideo connector installed in place of the USB input. An svideo to XLR adapter cable is included. There is no USB input.

It can also be used as a regular Gungnir Multibit using the regular balanced or SE outputs.

Only the Gungnir Multibit has mods for Gumbreya, the freya is stock.

All mod work was performed by a professional hardware engineer (not me).

DISCLAIMER: the direct dac outputs are only intended to be connected to a freya operating in tube or jfet mode. I am not responsible for any damage caused to you or equipment by use of the direct dac outputs.

    Thanks for looking!

Wow I wish I could sample your modded Gungnir Multibit, really interested in your Freya though.

What’s the situation with the USB interface? Is the usb board now gone entirely?

The USB board has been removed and replaced with a board that holds the connector for the direct dac outputs. It will be included separately if you want it.

Or if you want I'll throw in an Eitr for $75.
